Last week, thirteen of my watercolour paintings took up a new exhibit space at The Diesel House Café here in Bracebridge, Ontario. So far the owners and staff have heard great comments from patrons. Local photographer, Carolyn Fullerton, and I will rotate our work and Silver Bridge Gallery in Bracebridge, will bring in various artists represented by the Gallery to fill in the remaining space. This is a great opportunity for exposure of my work and I’m very grateful to owners, Sue and Jodie Lalonde, for generously providing their beautiful, contemporary space to us.
On the same day, my friend and fellow artist, Janice Feist, and I received news from the Chapel Gallery in Bracebridge that our application for a two-woman art show in 2014 was accepted. I’ll share more about this in the months to come once we know the exact dates. If you are in Bracebridge on Saturday, June 29 (10 am – 3 pm), please drop by Muskoka Furniture at 195 Wellington Street, Bracebridge. 705-645-8183. I will be participating with 7 other local artists in an outdoor show and sale Celebrating Muskoka!
Lastly, my website is updated with my newest work. Please take a look www.wendiedonabie.com.
That’s all for now! Thank you for your interest in my art journey.
