Looking for a way to sell your art?
This is a quick post to let other artists know about a site I discovered today. It’s www.artfido.com.
Setting up an account and adding your art is free. When your art sells, you pay 10% to Fido Art. That’s an incredible deal. The only issue I have is shipping costs. I put in an estimate and advised I would obtain actual cost for legitimate buyers. I’ll let you know how this works out.
Here is the first painting I offered for sale. Winter Solstice is a watercolour on paper, framed, but I have listed an unframed price as well. (Framed:$400; Unframed: $300 – both prices plus shipping).

Wendie,
I’m on FineArtAmerica. On this site, you upload high resolution files and when you have a sale, they handle printing, shipping and offer mats, frames, etc to your customer. They only take a small percentage but you can’t sell originals, only prints. Go look at mine.

Only problem is you are competing with artists all over the world and sales are slow. I’ve been on for a year and half, only sold three. Good exposure though.
Really love this painting, not even sure why. The colours? The scene? The mood?
Thanks for stopping by and your comments!
